Deborah founded adhoc pr in 1996. Before starting the agency she worked in house for trade bodies and a professional firm as well as working as account director for an international advertising and public relations agency. As the MD of adhoc pr she has worked for many companies in many market sectors, on a range of leisure, consumer, B2B and corporate briefs.
Deborah has a powerful sense of what will make news and she knows how to 'seize the moment' for maximum impact. Among her many skills is her eye for a good picture. She specialises in creating innovative photo opportunities, enabling her clients to achieve national press and broadcasting coverage by encapsulating good stories in arresting images.
One of her photographic scoops involved laying the entire contents of a Posthouse superior bedroom underneath the posts at Headingley to celebrate the award of a contract for the sale of the largest number of hotel bed nights to the Rugby League World Cup. With the Managing Director propped up on the bed under the posts, the picture story was picked up and covered by The Times, Daily Telegraph, Daily Express and Guardian.
Deborah is supported by an experienced team with creative writing, event management and PR skills.
adhoc pr is used to working closely with specialist agencies in the advertising, design and marketing strategy fields.
